Founded in the 1940s, Snyder’s Gateway, Inc. is a multifaceted enterprise, located in Breezewood, Pennsylvania. SGI consisted of i) a TA franchised travel center; ii) Travelers’ Oasis, a retail fuel and convenience store; iii) a Holiday Inn Express Hotel; and iv) various food establishments. The transaction involved the sale to TA of the franchised travel center and Travelers’ Oasis.
TravelCenters of America, part of the bp portfolio, is a full-service travel center network. Founded in 1972 and headquartered in Westlake, Ohio, TA offers diesel and gasoline, truck maintenance and repair, full-service and quick-service restaurants, stores with food, beverages and merchandise, and car and truck parking, among other services.
