James R. McNaughton

James McNaughton is a Managing Director of Delancey Street Partners.

Mr. McNaughton has more than 20 years of investment banking experience spanning a number of diverse industries and transactions including mergers and acquisitions, fairness opinions, financings, and other advisory assignments. His client list includes family-owned and privately-held middle market companies, financial sponsors and public corporations.

Prior to joining Delancey Street, Mr. McNaughton was a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Corporate Advisory Group at Janney Montgomery Scott, which covered the healthcare, diversified industrials, business services and consumer industry verticals. He was responsible for overall leadership of the group as well as for originating and executing client transactions, in particular for privately held companies and family-owned businesses. Prior to co-founding the Corporate Advisory Group, Mr. McNaughton was a Managing Director in Janney’s Healthcare practice and also a senior member of the firm’s financial sponsors coverage effort. He has served as a long-standing member of Janney’s Fairness Opinion Committee. Prior to Janney, Mr. McNaughton began his investment banking career at Furman Selz and ING Barings.

Mr. McNaughton is an active member of the Philadelphia chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.
